Pilates and Barre

BARRE is a ballet inspired workout that uses a unique combination of isometric exercises (small intense movements) alternated with stretching. 

In this dynamic class you’ll use a combination of bodyweight resistance,
light props, work at the ballet barre and high repetitions to exhaust all
major muscle groups. Particular focus is given to activating and toning the
arms, thighs, seat and core.

This class is low impact and is suitable for all fitness levels. Choreography
changes in every class to ensure you don’t plateau and to keep your
muscles guessing.

PILATES strengthens the core postural muscles, promotes balanced muscle development, improves mobility, co-ordination and stability. It is suitable for those who are carrying an injury and require precise rehabilitation.

Classes at Falmouth Active Health are either run in small groups (no more than 8) or one on one. This enables Pip to focus on your individual needs so you can get the maximum out of each session.
