I have visited Liz on a number of occasions with sports-related injuries and she has always managed to rectify my problems, often within a single visit. Her professionalism and knowledge are second to none, and she treats every patient with huge care and attention. As a very active sportswoman herself, Liz’s expertise extends beyond the physiological to a real understanding of each individual and their needs. She has an almost uncanny intuition that I have not encountered among sports practitioners before, and is able to quickly identify exactly where the source of the problem lies. I can’t recommend her enough.~ Nicole
I’ve been visiting Lizzie for over four years now. After successfully diagnosing and treating my original complaint, I’ve been injury free ever since, through periods of intensive training, ultramarathon competition and numerous PBs. I have no doubt that this is down to the effectiveness, care, professionalism and kindness with which she goes about her practice. Always there with a big smile, she’s also helped me through some post-race slumps and dips in motivation. Her knowledge and advice on training has been invaluable too. I can’t recommend her highly enough.~ Adrian
With regards to the Park Clinic, my wife and I have been receiving treatment from Lizzie for several years. This treatment has enabled us to keep mobile enough to live comfortably. The pain and stiffness relief is genuine and immediate and we cannot recommend Lizzie highly enough.~ Dave and Sue
I first went to see Lizzie after an injury whilst taking part in a weights session. As a Pilates instructor its vital that i can demonstrate moves in my classes and my injury was stopping me doing this. I found Lizzie approachable, friendly, encouraging, and really understood my needs and how best to work with this injury. Lizzie not only treats the injury she treats the whole body and i immediately started to notice the difference. I can’t recommend Lizzie high enough.

I was very impressed with the service Dan provides from the first session I had. He took the time to really listen to me to get a better understanding of how my injury came about and how it may be affecting other areas of my body. The treatment and exercises have made a dramatic impact on my overall physical health as well as to the specific injury. I’m now able to complete movements I thought I would not be able to again. This is due to Dan’s expertise and encouraging manner. I have already recommended Dan to friends and colleagues and I will continue to do so.

Dan is very flexible in his approach in that he tailors the treatment to your individual needs. He is dynamic and will work through the different pain locations. He teaches very useful stretches to help increase movement range. He will share with you his formulation about what maintains your symptoms and how to start breaking some circles. He also makes the sessions as accessible as possible to accommodate your work commitments. Dan is a very reliable, knowledgeable and friendly practitioner.
Through my work with Dan I have become more mobile and my body does not go into spasm. I feel freer in my movement range and my function tolerance has increased. I would recommend Dan whole heartedly. ~ Cris
Dan was incredibly helpful and I could not have achieved my goals without his treatment.
Training for Ironman events means your body always has issues that need keeping on top of in order to deal with the daily training load. Dans experience in Triathlon, alongside his friendly analytical approach was a massive help. Dan always listened first and then came up with immediate treatment solutions alongside long term advice, his experience across many sports helped improve my strength and core and gave immediate benefit to both muscles and nerves!

I highly recommend Dan and my Ironman time would of been significantly slower without his help.~ Richard

        Ria Sands

BTEC Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage

Ria is our highly qualified soft-tissue therapist, with a Level 5 diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage. Ria is kind and approachable, which helps her understand her patients needs in a truly meaningful way. Clients are able to share their preconceptions about their bodies and injuries, and how these affect their confidence to move forward.

Ria acutely listens to each patient’s needs, and treats each person based on their individual requirements. She is keen to get people away from thinking that sports massage is about getting a ‘pummelling’, Instead, she uses the therapy to deliver specific and targeted treatment, in order to relieve physical issues.

Ria’s interest in therapy came from her own experience of suffering from a long term back injury. Through her journey back to health, she became aware of the power of being positive and proactive in breaking negative thought patterns. She learned first-hand that a negative mindset can prevent people getting over their injury and back to doing the activities they enjoy.

Ria’s natural aptitude as a therapist was recognised by her alma mater: Exmouth School of Massage, where she was asked to return to train therapists.

In her free time, Ria is a committed gig rower and loves walking the coast path with her friends.

          • Diploma (Level 5) Sports and Remedial Massage
          • Rocktape Level 1 – Functional Movement
I have had a number of massages (therapeutic and recuperative) over the years, and I
can honestly say that Ria is top of my list. She is friendly and professional - yes, but she
is also kind and generous. She indulged the 'geek' in me by explaining anatomy and kind
of impact/response. After an hour, I walked out feeling taller and more 'aligned' than
when I had walked in. She gave tips on how to instigate some self-regulation for muscle
tension. I am hugely impressed, and cannot recommend her highly enough.
I had my first treatment today with Ria and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She's
friendly, professional and makes you feel at ease throughout your treatment. Straight
away she found exactly where each problem area was and worked thoroughly to relieve
all the knots and tension in my body. Will be sure to go back again
I usually find it hard to relax when I'm having a massage but Ria has such a lovely way
about her, she makes you feel instantly comfortable and calm. I've had a few sessions
now and all of them have been absolutely amazing and left me feeling like a new person!
If you have any injuries or niggles, or just need some TLC - I cannot recommend Ria
enough. She is a very talented and knowledgeable therapist.
After irritating both my Achilles (long story!) I booked into to see Ria. After an hour long
session my calves, ankles, feet and tendons feel soooo much better and relaxed! Highly
