Why Falmouth Active Health?

We are a team of therapists who provide a range of manual, movement and alternative therapies in Falmouth. Our aim is to help you you move better, feel better and ultimately live better.

We resolve pain, treat & prevent injuries and give you tools to live a healthier life and rehabilitate.

Our solution focuses on helping you feel and move better, but also encouraging you re-connect with your body. Whether its through improving joint health, core function, stability, mobility or dynamic motor control – we focus on the necessary requirements for normal human movement.

We have a variety of treatments on offer that are tailored for each individual. We provide osteopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, sports therapy and massage. We also have available a team of movement specialists in Pilates, yoga and rehabilitation, as well as alternative therapies such as craniolsacral therapy and ayurveda.

We partake in sport because we love it, so we know that reducing your injuries is important. Injury through sport is very common; the very nature of most sports involves impact and/or repetition. High impact sports such as rugby or running and low impact sports such as swimming or surfing are a lot more complicated than they appear.

We believe the key component to help lessen the onset of injuries is to improve the prerequisites required for each activity. That might be better core stability, improved mobility, correct footwear or improving motor control. We wouldn’t want to give up the sports and hobbies we love and nor would we want you to, we will help you get back to doing what you love.
